Thanks for your video question. Its not effected at all by load. I also test my vacuum & the same power usage drop. I ran it around the place & that worked fine. There is not difference to the motor, you dont hear a fluctuation in RPM or anything. Lots of people "claim" it extends the life of the motor as it smooths out the voltage causing less heat buildup.

I will be testing a 220V whole house system soon, a company will be sending one for me to review & I will post my findings on that too.

@mixcatcom That is really what I need is the whole house 220 for the space heaters during the winter. I may put the wood burner in the dining room here because there are a lot of downed trees around.
