Dear brothers this Thikr of Allah and it is 100% halal. it is important that when you see something you do not understand you don't call it horam. what this shows is that you have little knowledge. the Ethipians were doing this infront of the prophet saw and he liked it. there are many hadith about the importance and benefits of thikr. Allah says many times if you do not know ask the people of the thikr
This zikr is called hadra - the ones who indulge kno that it brings one closer to the Creator - if u doubt, try joining such a gathering - the Creators beloved never stopped the ethopians from dancing & singing his praise in the musjid - Bibi Ayesha was raised to c this - those that lack knowledge make even the permitted haram - Our beloved never ate chameleon, but doe this make it haram - What is Shirk in this?? - Do muslims understand what is shirk?? superficial knowledge is dangerous -

fellow muslims and brothers, Did our prophet Mohammad peace be upon him did what you are doing? this "zikr" has never done by ANY of early muslims after our prophet peace be upon him died so why U're doing this?
he left us with a complete religion and you "added" these rituals that were never told by him nor mentioned in the HOLY QURAN so please for the love of ALLAH stop inventing new stuff thinking that you'll get closer to Allah by doing them. All you need is Salah, Doa'a and read more Quran.
