I'm referring to the greek myth of "Sisyphus" in the last verse, who was confined to roll a rock up a mountain, only to have it fall back down again forever. It was a result of him "defying the gods" and leaving the underworld because he "loved life." The myth is often used as a metaphor for when our lives are routine and mundane, and we aren't really "living." Hence the words: "I'm Sisyphus still knowing what I've been missing...I keep wasting my time and not living"
