A) i race mx vet class35+ crf450 b) he is hitting the rev limiter because he is riding like barcia not because he is "engaging" the clutch. If you hit rear brake and pull in clutch you can stall a four stroke in air amd when you land the compression will put you in tank slapper and youll drag rear tire but on a two stroke you can land and possibly bump start since it does not "engine brake like a four stroke". C) any rotating wheel that a brake engages a rotor with caliper will make the bike f

@poppanitrous 100% wrong. you always have the clutch in when jumping so the bike doesnt stall in the air and kill you, but it will always bumpstart once you land due to the load the rear wheel is under whilst landing!

every single time ive stalled out in the air due to not having a finger on the clutch, the bikes always fired up once ive landed! you just need to anticipate that the bike will lose some momentum,then you wont go over the bars!

@625bmx if you use the rear brake to adjust the pitch of the bike whilst in the air! its easy to lock the wheel and therefore locks the engine also, causing the engine to stall! thats why you should always hang a finger on the clutch whilst in the air! just to be safe! then you can look all pro and jam the back brake super hard in the air and kiss the front fender etc!! pro like i said!
