This was along to a video of a beautiful soul i once knew who died a year ago today. The song is perfect for him. Jennings Wardlaw <3. You will be forever missed. And I can honestly say he was like no other.
Words always fall short of describing the real beauty. And this perhaps is the case again. Wonderful song, I really dont have words to describe it. It soothes the soul if not just the heart.

Heard this at the end of the movie - never got out of my head....got through a divorce 4 years ago.....so many interpretations of what all these wonderful lyrics may mean to them....
Make your own interpretations...but most importantly, enjoy this wonderful song.
My new wife loves it too.....life moves on...."don't look down" :)
I love this song it is so calm and it speaks to me... It says "Everything in the world will be okay if you just keep a positive, loving attitude." It also reminds me to forgive and forget and love those who may hate me and those who I hate...
how come rebecca black gets millions of views and heart throbbing songs like iron and wine hardly cross few thousands? its not fair ppl shud really listn 2 real music
That's what happens when the owners of companies are accountants instead of being musicians. You see the same thing in many fields now... from cars to video games... and the effect is always the same; You end up with a product which is a formula of what the main demographics want instead of something which is a creative outlet for someone with talent. Taking risks and making something for a smaller group cuts into the profit and doesn't generate the ad revenue.
What a soul-tugger. I mean, this song just snatched my soul from my body and twirled it in a circle as fast as it could spin, then just let go . . . and it's still soaring . . . and spinning. I can't get this song out of my spirit. This is what music is supposed to do.
@werebesties What's crazy is . . . a woman once told me that divorce is like death. At first I didn't understand, but now, I do. My husband and I have been separated for a second time for two years this time and we have a three-year-old. This songs makes me cry so hard and wish we could work it out . . . because, through all the pain, I still remember the love we shared . . . and I know we still love one another. Yes, divorce is like death. I get it now.
This song must have magical powers because I am pretty sure that it is the only video on Youtube with so many views and no dislikes or bad comments. That's pretty amazing.
I remember hearing this the first time a month or so after my fiance was killed in a car accident and it crushed me. I haven't been able to listen to it since until tonight, with a little help from a bottle of wine. I am better, not so sad...
the song is comfortable in being repetitive because it makes you focus on the lyrics, the story, the heart and soul of the song because its the heart and soul of the voice and the person singing. THIS is what real music is.
I love this. Pure calmness!! I'm only a mere teen, and i love them!!! All of my friends have never heard of Iron and Wine!! They are my favorite! xD

@bunnyzehra I agree completely. The majority of good composers is anonymous or little known...
I wish people begin to listen to some good music, instead of this generations garbage.

It's amazing that it is such a simple tune, yet so enthralling. Like the repetition is comfortable, rather than boring.
