In Ashlee's defense, they all performed back to back and she was the last to perform. All of their performances had issues, the boos, were for them all. They couldn't hear anything...they would sing, and then hear what they sang echo back like 5 seconds later. They all pulled their ear-pieces out cause they weren't working. The guy at the end of this song singing probably didn't know he was mic'd or perhaps he was trying to give Kelly a grasp of where she should have been in the song.
