I dig the boss gear that I have, but who is the marketed to? Don't guitarists love having many instruments and collecting pedals? I'm sure Alex Lifeson and the like can take as many instruments as they like on the road. I wish Roland/Boss would take these resources and start going back to analog designs and give guitarists what they want. Shame.

I would rather get a flat top Variax and fix a Roland GK3A then connected to a GK switch pedal then to a GR and VG with each direct guitar output each to POD X3Live and the last GT. But then we will compete in complexity with the keyboard players. Ha ha ha. Good for the shop to get more repeat orders for every guitarist.

Great, competition for the Line 6 Variax. Maybe I missed it but I didn't see an output to connect to a GR-55 or any other interface. So there's a midi pick-up but no midi-funtionality other than the sounds on board? Updates? USB?
