  • doing it like this is fine if you are in a hurry but if you cook the tomato sauce on a low heat for 45 minutes to an hour it will taste so much better.Add a touch of sugar to it aswell if you are using tinned tomatoes.

  • WARNING! Do not use cream crackers, they make the meatballs hard and taste horrible. For 500g of mince use 2 slices of white bread, remove the crust's and soak in milk. This makes the meatballs light, fluffy and delicious.

  • This is our go to pasta/meatball dish! I add a bit of balsamic to the mix and I mix a 50/50 of lamb and turkey instead of beef.

  • isn't the sauce going to be sour? I always cook my sauce 1 hour or more because otherwise it is so acid and sour

  • @OurBestMusicChannel Hey, here's a tip for ya. Add a bit of sugar to it, maybe like... half a teaspoon to one teaspoon, it won't make it candy like sweet but it sound offset the sourness of the tomatoes. =) Hope this works for you.

    • Add your onion to the frying pan and stir for around 7 minutes or until softened and lightly golden

    • Then add your garlic and chilli.

    I think he got a little over excited about his chilli and garlic. :-)

  • I just cooked this very fast meal today and it tasted very good. It won't change the wold, but it's better than junk food, and made in the same time! :)

  • @ashleiyy id say you can use any meat you like. beef is just the most common one for meat balls
