After trying unsuccessfully before watching this video I finally managed at the second attempt ..Pity the instruction with the tent ar useless....they should include a dvd with each temt sold .

The video's miles better than the instructions (WTF does 'surfboard' mean, for heaven's sake?), but could do with some audio to explain what the guy's doing. Even with the video it's taken me half an hour to work out how to pack my tent up.

Thanks guys !!! I spent an hour floundering around in the garden trying to pack away, but got absolutely nowwhere.

Youtube to the rescue... and it's now packed, and back in it's carry case.

Extremely glad I practiced, prior to first time use !!

whew.. finally... the comments by 599hondaman really helped.... I thought I'd break the damn thing... took me like an hour to get it packed! I can build a PC from scratch faster, lol. all packed now! cheeers

I know exactly what you mean. I agree that the first (flip) fold is easy. Once you've flattened everything down after this, then just grab one end with two hands whilst kneeling on the end with the elastic strap attached to it. Twist it firmly(!) and it WILL fold back on itself as shown in this video. It'll feel at first that you're going to break something - but you won't. You just have to show it who's the boss. Still can't do it, it's the final twist that's got me stumped, followed this vid and another one right to a tee and still no joy. There's clearly a knack to it, but I haven't a scoob how to master it
