  • hey suicide, good times

  • still be believe it it bring tears to my eyes watchin this again.

  • Stacie worked in Fargo,ND once.

  • WHAT the hell is wrong with people .... this is obviously a very tough day for her (and her co-workers) struggling with the bleakest details of his death have you ever worked anyone who died unexpectantly or suicide? I have lived through both It's not easy... anyway i don't wanna peach but if you dont know what you're talking about.... SHUT UP.

  • So, he committed suicide and they are honoring his life? What a crock of shot.

  • @derekjlight What, are they to say: "Thank God he killed himself - never could stand the bastard?" Everyone goes through personal trials of various intensities. They may fight personal demons, and people have different capacities to endure suffering/pain. The person may or may not be a decent individual, but if that person has not the capacity/rational to work through their problems, that makes them unworthy of honor??

  • whats the old bumper sticker????? Mean People Suck !!!

  • When you are dead everybody says good things about you

  • She did really good....its hard to do but women are strong like that....

  • 3 years ago he visited my school

  • @mypalrocco The guy was a co-worker and friend and had just killed himself that morning...why would you think her grief could possibly be insincere? Are you saying that "news anchors" don't even care when their FRIENDS die?

Christ, what did any of those people ever do to you?

  • @KennBurch

It's for show. Her eyes are dry, are you blind?

  • @mypalrocco She had the cry in the voice. That was real. You know perfectly well she was mourning the guy. Why is it so important to you to dismiss her reaction as a sham? News Anchors grieve as sincerely as anyone else. What is this really about with you? You seem to have a visceral hatred of this woman. Why? I can't imagine she could ever have done anything to you.

  • @KennBurch

Why is it so important for you to convince others' that her reaction was legitimate? I don't like phonies. I am an expert at gauging phony reactions and insincere sentiment. I've seen other news people who are legitimately upset but she is not. My guess is that she could be upset, that she knew the guy long enough that most normal people would indeed have sincere feeling, but she is incapable of having sincere reaction or even producing tears because she is a sociopath.

  • @mypalrocco A SOCIOPATH? Jesus, you really have it in for this woman.

Look, if she was actually a sociopath, wouldn't she have been busted for killing somebody by now?

She isn't a phony and you have no reason to be this invested in proving she is. People on television are trained to maintain emotional control. That's why she didn't have tears streaming down her cheeks. It's weird that you're determined to see her as incapable of human emotion.

  • @KennBurch Get. a. life. loser.

  • @auntbecky Because you're a loser and that's all the proof I need.

  • @mypalrocco Also, the shot they cut to of her right after the first footage of the guy was her on an old newscast when Winter was still alive. They don't show her live again in the studio for almost 30 seconds. And there's no way you can tell, from the shot back in the studio, whether her eyes were dry or not. So, again, you have no reason to be mocking this.

  • @KennBurch

Oh, so you know then? I'm saying she's the personality type that has to "put on" her emotions so she doesn't end up appearing cold-hearted. But that she can't naturally be emotional otherwise.

  • @mypalrocco Are you a psychiatrist? How can you possibly diagnose her "personality type" from a two minute video clip?

  • @mypalrocco eyes maybe dry but that doesn't mean you aren't feeling it you lummox.

  • @auntbecky Cunt!

  • I miss John, one of the few personalities I enjoy at WFLA :'(

  • he became an hero

  • Rest in Peace John. You were one of the good guys.

  • fuck you, this guy died, dont you care?

  • @6hettoBeatz why do you have to say stuff like this?

  • @6hettoBeatz Why would you post something like that? It's not cool to make fun of anyone's pain.

  • That's depression for you. One minute you're cheerful, but you really want to end it. Been there before

  • I personally knew him and I worked with his wife Karen. It saddens me every April 5. and I still say prayers for him on that day. You're still in my heart John, you are still greatly missed by everyone who knew you.

  • @6hettoBeatz

hopefully you end your sorry ass self...you piece of shit

  • @6hettoBeatz You're are heartless.

  • @6hettoBeatz Suck my dick ghetto bitch

  • @6hettoBeatz It's called the human race. Join it.

  • an unbelievable meterologist loved him

  • wow, i didn't know this man but my heart goes out to him and his family and his co-workers...may he find the peace he seeks....

  • I'm still saddened by this, as I am of the death of Dick Fletcher from WTSP.

  • Listen. I know you are being sarcastic and are just trying to stir the pot, but, despite that being the case, those types of off-color remarks are not acceptable in the contexts of videos such as this one.

  • What is this "absoulute" you are talking about?

  • The 'absolute' void.

Everything that exists is constantly changing, ephemeral, mutable, but the void is unchanging, eternal, absolute.

Suicide completes the 'circuit' of opposite and negative in the life of the individual. Involuntarily, we come into the world; voluntarily, we exit.

  • You're fucking insane.

  • you have some serious issues !!!!! can you be so bold to show this cruel staement to your mom ??? i think not, so don't do it here....you should be ashamed !!!!!

  • My mother commited suicide, a modern-day exemplar of the practice, if I may be so bold to say.

Decent role-models are few and far between...there's always Marshall Applewhite, no?

"Whoever wishes to save his life shall lose it," Matt. 16:25

  • Why are you all giving Mr. john3000032 thumb's down? He is not lying that they all died on April 5th (check Wikipedia). Also, they all were in the elite company of each other for their own reasons; Cobain and Staley were in two of the most significant bands of the 1990s and Winter was a revered individual in the community.

  • OMG i was in tampa when wfla announced he died I cried when this happened

  • I've never heard of this guy, but it's always sad to see someone die young, especially from suicide.

  • tbo john past away

  • I've been gone from the area for almost 3 years...this is a shock. John was a good looking, fun weather guy,....I enjoyed his presence on my fav. station in the Tampa Bay area...

I also just learned of Bob Hite's retirement (I know, kinda' late but like I said, it's been a while for me.) I started watching Gayle and Bob when I was 15 and now I'm 46...

    My condolences....deeply heartfelt.

    m.

  • yeah i thought johnny winter too, check out johnny winter at woodstock doing mean street blues, who knew he played there?

  • i clicked on this thinking The Albino,Johnny Winter, the musician, was dead

  • not funny , just really immature and foolish, i can only hope that suicide never effects you and your family, cause if it did you wouldn't make a joke like that

  • As rude as this comment is, you know something John would've laughed at you. This man was so awsome and funny. Ddon't talk smack about people you don't know.

  • I'm sure there was a lot going on in his life that the public didn't know about. People who have such great senses of humor do so because they have suffered great trauma. I'm sure he's much happier now and we all must remember that some souls aren't meant for this Earth.

  • I think there are plenty of people out there with great senses of humor who are not depressed and don't have issues in their personal lives that could contribute to something like this. But I think people who have depression built up inside them are afraid to burden others with it, even though they really should tell family and friends in order to get help and hopefully better their minds and spirits.

  • Props to Stacie for maintaining her composure (the best she could) through this. That had to be horribly tough to do. Young life cut so short.

  • why did he do that?

  • Stacie is very shooken up! Its sad the man took his own life! He was always helping and giving. May God bless him, his family and his friends and coworkers!!

  • no go cold !

  • Damn, I remember him doing the weather when I lived in Tampa Bay. That's so sad. And listening to the anchor holding back tears and trying to maintain her composure is just heartbreaking.

  • John Winter was such an hero. RIP John.
