@allwahguy i agree with you, however, you have to remember, this is an earthquake of a different caliber. That and the usual procedure for an earthquake requires you to either go towards a corner and ball up, under a desk, or run like hell outside. They kept CALM. And for government officials to do that in an emergency is impressive.
I was on the train platform when it hit... Buildings were swaying... and people were just standing there and checking their cell phones... People were too calm... It was freaky... !!!
in any european country or in us parliment, it would be panic from the first second, everybody shouting, runing etc... And in Japan? Guy is sitting still, waiting for quake to pass.... Incredible...
the hotspot of the earthquake was several km before the eastern coast of Honshu in the prefecture Miyagi. the geologists say it occured in a depth of 25km. what a frightening power!!! I feel sad for the japanese citizens. but I feel happy that so many continental and european nations wanna help. I hope it gives a little consolation to the victims...
talk about maintained composure, they stayed relatively calm through the entire experience. Those are leaders i'm glad i voted into power if they can stay strong like that.
see the cops taking him out after the earthquake? bush wasn't taken out of that elementary school until the 2nd plane hit :o

@BamenYaros That area had little to no natives. The natives died far before the Americans came there anyway. Consequences of a weak immune system.

@XenRA I think the composure has more to do with the fact that they're used to earthquakes in Japan.
