@Copyingispunishable You are on the money there man. Foals were formed by members of various UK intro and math groups including Youthmovies who would definitely have been influenced by The Rednecks. The lead guitarist from Foals uses the same guitar as Mattie too so the guitar tone is almost identical.....

@firecoroner As far as i know, the Mattie from The Rednecks uses is a Travis Bean guitar.  Its the same guitar that Yannis Philipakis from Foals uses. They are vintage electrics which are not manufactured anymore. Pretty pricey i would imagine
