@lstrl00r09 Sounds like it could be a computer memory limitation. This operation requires a lot of fresh memory. If you restart your computer, that will clear off memory perhaps that will allow the program to work as it should. If not, you can press ctrl, alt del to get to windows task manager. You may be able to shut down applications and/or processes you computer doesn't need right now that will free up more memory for the computer. Let me know if this helps. Stay in touch. Thanks.
@grrdang I've never done it, but I think I would try to get a room with muffled surfaces, carpet, curtains, egg crate, etc, because otherwise there will be too much echo. Also, I wouldn't put the mic a couple inches away, maybe more like a few feet. Then I would experiment to see what you like best. Thanks for viewing and commenting.
Okay, so I'm using a condenser mic, with an XLR for phantom power. On the XLR I have a USB output and on my computer I have an USB input. But I can't get the mic to read on n-Track. And help? Please and Thank You!
@Pendercsg I don't know about using a USB input for a mic. I have placed an inquiry on your question to someone who might know and if he tells me something on it, I'll share it with you. Otherwise, I'll keep looking elsewhere and maybe you'll get it figured out anyway with or without anyone's help. It seems like it might be more of an equipment compatibility issue. Have you tried using that mic on the Windows Sound Recorder? If it works there, but not with N track, it's a software issue.
@jedjames23 I heard that there is something called an analogx directx plug-in vocal remover. What is does is remove the vocal tracks on the left and right channels and other sounds of similar volume that also might include bass and drums. As of now, I don't know of anything else. I'll ask the top guy at N-Track and see if he knows of anything else. Thanks for viewing and commenting.
