  • I was offered a 50% discount from Logitech on the 1100 because I had a 1000 that broke after a yr. my question is does it suffer the same problems as the 1000 like maxing out the whole system or flying through all the channels at once? Also does it freeze everyday like the1000 . And is it as fragile as the 1000 . I dropped mine a foot and the touchscreen started to bleed? Thanks

  • No Xbox, No PS3. WHY!?

  • that harmony one gives me wood!!!!!!!! do want!!

  • After seeing this video i will buy harmony one, Thank you for a great video =)

  • at the moment i own the harmoney one remote and i got to say it does the job for me at the moment but the big problem i have is that since its IR not RF i have like setup problems like everytime i would want to tutn my ps3 on and my tv and have my light go off it would sometime not do anything and my only guess if that its because its IR not RF IR has so much problems so if i can get thsi remote in time then i will do so .

  • good video ...

  • Does the software work on OS X Lion cause it didnt work for me!

  • Great video review! Thanx! I want to buy a remote controller for my home theater, and now I have more clear idea! ;)

  • I really like this video. All the other reviews just talk about the features but you show exactly how to program each component. Thanks man! great job. If you were a remote control, you'd be the Logitech Harmony 1100 lol.

  • @GregPacillo sorry i hadn't watched the end of the video before i posted this. If you were a remote control, you would be the harmony one lol

  • Can you change the sounds on the 1100?

  • @f3lixneko

No, it does not appear that you can.

Each press of the touchscreen button responds with a "click" noise.

  • Great review but I think I'm leaning more towards the Harmony One just because I've heard the all touch screen can get a bit annoying and although it looks nice I'd rather have actual buttons sometimes

  • Brilliant review. Im thinking of getting this remote and was wondering what it is like to use with the Apple TV for typing letters/text??

  • @Garychamp18

Not certain what you mean by typing letters and text as there is no alphabetic keyboard.

However, you can pair it with your Apple TV by going into the settings, unpairing the Apple remote, and then teaching the Harmony the new remote commands. Apple TV walks you through it.
