  • I would keep the radar gun off of him as he doesn't need to worry about speed but proper mechanics. Otherwise he is going to worry about trying to throw harder than he should and probably injure himself. When he is fully developed then worry about the speed.

  • Guess what...the kid is 13 now, im sure he doesnt care about pathetic attempts to make a giant 10 year old douche feel better about herself with trash talk ;P

  • @fastball6591 guess what. Im also age 10, throw 53-56 and i also have a great 2 seam fastball

  • Age 10, throw 55, have a good sinking 2-seam,(like me) you're almost as good as me!

  • Amazing.

  • Great control. In youth ball control wins the game everytime....velocity is something that will come later with technique.

    Keep Pitchin' Kid!

  • This kid has a nice arm and has a lot of drop on the ball.

  • This kid has a nice arm and his palmball really has some break!

  • wow u dicks actually bag on a 9 year old? come on this is one of the only 9 year olds ive seen throwing strikes and he hasnt developed enough to bring his arm back more. everyone thinks theyre so cool because they are better than little kids.Pathetic. and keep it up kid throwing strikes are the hardest thing to do

  • make sure and keep him throwing long toss cuz once he moves to the big field its a huge transition, im 16 and still pitching, just finished state tourny for allstars, we got further than last year but still got eliminated.

  • Follow through when you pitch and drag that toe and it will make that ball go lower, then push off the mound hard and get velocity. Point the glove toward the plate and then bring that arm over the shoulder. Other than that it's good

  • that was horrible pitching

  • the glove moves a ton i could do better than that

  • he looks like he didn't want to be there at all. don't force your kid to play if he doesn't want to.

  • @NextBigThingWrestlin I noticed that too.

  • I'm better

  • he seems to short arm it.

  • he is not pitching 55 to 60 in 11 to 12 that is a lie he is maybe pitchin 30 to 35

  • @hahalame2825 ud be suprised at how us kids pitch

  • @Jouris100 well you are not throwing that fast maybe he could pitch 37 on his fastest

  • Pretty Good

    1.He should stay closed longer

2.He should bring his armslot up

3.He should bring his glove to his chest

    4. Speed his wind up a little

    5. He should drop on his back leg

  • His mechanics aren't the best but u can definitely throw a strike

  • He has to drop his arm

  • They stopped it when he threw a shitter

  • how is this kid doing now? still pitching?

  • @Kr1chfact0rX Still pitching. Just moved up to 11-12 yr old, he is 11 now. Throwing 55-60 mph, doing well. I will post new vids ASAP

  • @osborneg1 cool i will sub, there is a guy in my class saying he can pitch 80 MPH i don't believe him

  • @osborneg1 b.s. kid aint throw 55mph

  • @osborneg1 bull crap i throw faster than him and is say 55 so he throws it has to be 40 or lower

  • ok all u 10-12 kids, im 15 and i can throw 78 so i dont think any of yall can throw 70.

  • Good video... Start him on resistance band workouts to get his lats and shoulders building the right muscles and more flexibility. His glove arm needs to chicken wing on fwd motion. Not too early to start.

  • He needs to stay closed longer on his delivery, reach back with his throwing arm farther, and push off better, but otherwise it was good.

  • nice but i strongly belive he should be bring down his throwing arm alot more my son just turned 9 and is throwing about 52mph just keep up the good work

  • @mser01 He is dropping the arm now, Down and Around, This video was a couple of years ago when he first started. Check out the newest video.

  • @osborneg1 I was gonna say...his arm has no swinging action. It's just a straight pullback from the glove. Good to hear of the adjustment.

  • man that was cool :] i when i was 9 i couldn't pitch like that (maybe i wus a batter i dunno) but now i could pith like that, but sadly i just learned yesturday! looks like we know ur future "Stud"

  • man i dont pich and that is right in the middle he beats me

  • i bet he'll pitch harder!

  • he needs to improve his velocity though im 11 i pitch high 60s to mid 70s some days low 80s but it rarely happens

  • @1miguelofilada low 80s and your 11? damn, either your a legend or your gun is wrong

  • wow thts really fast haha im 11 and i pitch 60-70

  • yeah the glove moves a little bit like 1or 2 inches

  • all palmballs. nice!

  • very fast and accurate good for your son hes very good but im 12 learning how to pitch first year of baseball doing good but want to learn to pitch better in know the wind up and im pitching very powerfull but not as accurate my dad has never played baseball only cricket since he lived in india but he helps me i practice 2-3 tinmes a week any suggestions

  • I just turned 13 a few days ago and I throw high 60s - low 70s and my changeup is like 58

  • VERY NICE PITCH DUDE YOU CAN MAKE IT TO THE MLB IF YOU TRY HARDER

  • this is very nice for a 9 year old :)

  • @XtremeTvCp thanks for the nice comments

  • yeah idk why but im a pitcher and im 12 wheni was 10 i pitched about 45-54 and now i pich about 50-64 my curves r about 53mph my change ups ar 46mpf my fastball is 60mph and my 4-seam is 53mph and my breaking balls are 42mph need to pitch faster b/c i used to pits about 70 5month ago its probably for fracturing my arm when i go hit with a ball

  • nice!! GUYS DO YOU SEE ALL THOSE AWSOME CHANGEUPS??? well by throwing that many nothing changed except the fact i fell asleep during it and it was only 1:00 long!!!

  • He holds the ball with all fingers lol

  • pretty good, keep working little buddy

  • glove moves a lot but good pitching

  • Why isn't he throwing fastballs, or is it that his hand is to small for the ball?

  • @shootwithagun at this point, yes his hand was too small and he used three fingers to grip. But this was 2 years ago. He is now 10 and throws normal 4 seam with two fingers from 50-55 mph.

  • @osborneg1 same with me. When I was his age I was same now I throw 50-55 when I'm 10

  • @osborneg1 when i was 10 i pitched around 45 im 11 now and throw 48-52 he must be awesome

  • This kid is bored out if his fuken mind! That's why he keeps dirting the mound! Haha

  • i pitched about 55mph when i was 9 so but he has ton of accuracy

  • Check out the newest video from this past fall. He has picked up some new pitches.

  • Ummm, my son was clocked at 54MPH when he was 9.

  • I guess thats great if he's throwing strikes and getting people out.

  • Well he is 9 (just turned 10 in Oct.) So he is just starting to be more consistent and pitching for strikes.

  • That's a start, just takes time. Getting people out is the main thing, you can't go wrong with that.

  • drumdrop u did not pitch 50 to 55 when u were 9 beacause thats highly impossible unless ur the stongest kid in the world

  • balls

  • the glove moves a little bit, but he is great!

  • no offense but he short arms when he pitches if he brought the ball all the way back he would get more speed and if he were to pitch out of a windup instead of stretch

  • good vidéo

  • nice!!! he's good for his age

    when i was 9 i thew 50 55

i wish i had vid of me pitching when that young

  • rainbow i pop the glove im eleven

  • believe me, the glove is popping now!!!!

  • on what, a 40 foot distance from mound to plate?

  • Yes well i like how he pitches and he is great but i'm 15 and ounce he get's older like 10-the bigs he is gonna get eatin alive kids will thrive off himk cause he is putting it right down the middle but at that age that's all you aim for getting it over the plate but overall a young and good pitcher good luck to you

  • Update: I haven't had time to upload new video, but he just finished pitching in the 9-10 all star tournament and didn't allow and earned run in the game he started. We will continue to practice and work on keeping hitters off balance by changing speeds until he is old enough to work on breaking pitches. He is currently working on a knuckle ball as well.

  • Yep, your right, we only work on Change and 2/4 seam fastball.

  • what pitches are u teachin em since im 10 u shoud only through changup and fast balls hes doin a great job though

  • Nice locationf. Looks like he is using all of hs hand to grip the baseball. Show him a 4 seam and a two seam grip and I bet you will see a big difference right away.

    Good Luck!

  • his hand isn't really big enough, but we are working on it. Working on windup and getting short arm hitch out right now as well.

  • hes allright
