because its in a colloseum and the video is taken from far away, and the sound does not carry well at all... plus the fans make it very difficult to hear. its pretty difficult to understand most all the teams

I find it interesting how "cheer moms" resort to a state of juvenile behavior when discussing their teams ability. The noise from your pettiness overshadows the accomplishments of the day. Which are obviously that all teams overcame obstacles, showed greatness in character, and preformed amazing routines. The routine was flawless and I loved the energy! Great job girls!

if anyone were to compare difficulty between summerville and mauldin, i think everyone that has had any question at all about summerville winning would see why they did and would no longer question the results from saturday... especially considering what happened this week with losing 4 girls. they held their helds high and really showed heart, class and great composure at state. if nothing else, respect them for what they did

....you're right summerville isn't the only team that somethin like that happened to, but they did come through it better than anyone else ever has before. personally i respect them for showing such great character and working as hard as they must have worked to pull it off. their routine, music, showmanship, jumps, dance, stunts, everything together made it awesome & way better than everyone else this year. just give them the credit they deserve. dont be a sore loser.

im not asking anyone to pity them. im just asking the ones that dont respect them to quit trying to make them look bad. i know they are not the only team that happened to, but it happened the week of state and they managed to win the championship just like it was any other competition and just like nothing had ever happened. thats what is amazing to me. i dont pity them at all. every team loses people throughout the year and sometimes more than 4... but they really pulled through it
