The weird jump at the beginning of the clip is because of my camera. If you notice, it starts out zoomed out really far; any time i jump from the ultra-wide setting to the tele-photo, there is a short delay. :^( I wasn't even thinking about it!

That statement is false. They use Innovative Percussion Sticks. I'm pretty sure the snares still use Jim Casellas and tenors are using some form of mallet.

It had something to do with the theme of the show and the tuning they used this year from what I've heard. Theres nothing wrong with an 8 inch though, its not as popular anymore, but a lot of people still use the 8 inch, its usually accompanied by a 6 inch when they have it though, thats why it looks weird. I think the cavaliers usually do a double 6 though.

sorry. my camera does some weird time warp type thing whenever i switch from ultra-wide to telephoto. lol you realy need to see these guys in person because they are so much cleaner sounding. other than that, watch it in high quality because it's kickass and enjoy! :^)
