I personally purchased an 09 version, EX-L V6 2dr w/ navi in AUTOMATIC. Is yours manual or auto? My other question is: whats your mileage on a full tank? Mine has that Variable Cylinder Management since its auto, and you'd think the mileage would be good (i mainly drive street but even in combo driving mileage sucks) but i only get 230 before the gas light goes on. next is brakes squeeky and don't stop very well. get back to me. I think my car is defective. they already changed the fronts

i have the 09 accord coupe v6 and on a full tank using 91 gas i only get about 220 miles then the lights on. and for front brakes they had to be replaced at 1800 miles because they were squeeky and the dealer said i was a heavy braker which am not. then i took my car in for an oil change at 8700 miles last week and i needed new rear brakes cause they said it was at 1mm. honda needs to make some recalls i think.

what is the actual 0 to 60 mph time on your Honda? Some car videos rate it at 5.8 and others rate the 6 cylinder at 7.5 seconds. It can't be that much of a spread, even if you're comparing a stick shift to an automatic. Which is correct?

the v6 auto has a gas management system which restricts the engine performance and give better gas mileage. the 6spd had no restiction. so those times are correct for the auto and the 6spd

Nice car--Accords are the best cars for the money as I've discovered from owning one myself (2004 EX-L sedan).

My old bones are more comfortable in a sedan than the coupe, though, and the 4 cylinder is plenty fast enough for me (it's an inline 4, not a V4, and I don't know of any V4 other than the old Ford V4 Taunus engine that was also used in Saabs back in the 1960s).

prices in Canada are not fair at all, and to the guys slamming my car, I drove the new accord coupe and chose the G6, the suspension is a lot nicer, it's all personal taste but I should have known there would be some hostility on a car thread.

Choosing the G6 over the Accord is definitely unorthodox to say the least.

At least you won't have a car that everyone will have.

I have the 2008 accord coupe v6 6spd btw, love it. To each their own I guess!

metal was my first choice, but i could not find one locally with v6 and manual, so i got black. Yes keeping it clean is a bitch, but after its cleaned and waxed youll be lovin it. Both colors are nice. Go with ur gut. You cant go wrong either way.
