Your hair is nice, but you didn't roller set your hair correctly around the straws to create the spiral "straw" effect. If you didin't use the straws as rollers, you would have got a more spiral effect. But you still look nice!!

Wow..Umm. I'm hoping that wasn't a sideways racist comment..But on finer hair I'm sure you can do something similar to this..You may not be able to catch your hair with the straws and the hair pins though. Try roller rods. They can be found at WalMart.

to catch the ends, roll the straws "inward" so that the hair rolls around itself, then roll the straw down so it'll spiral (I hope that makes sense, easier said than done!).

I have natural hair and my hair stylists presses my hair before setting it and it works fine.

I love it it lasted for almost 2 weeks.The first three days I left it out.The fourth day I flat twisted the back a little less than mid way. About the 7 or eighth day in i flat twisted it into a mohawk and touched up the curls that fell this is now my BG's sytle. Thank u so much i will send pics when i get the developed.

Yeah...Its fun and can be different every time you do it! I'm not doing a "FINAL BIG CHOP" but on Friday I am getting most of my perm cut off.... :\ I'M SCARED! LOL

But, braid outs.. Twist outs...Kinky Twists or any type of braids...Two Strand Twists...Straw Sets...There are SO many things you can do to your hair while transitioning. All of those that I just listed, I've done that and more! If you have time to do your hair or you actually have fun doing ur hair, you'll be FINE!

It's actually shoulder length. Since this video, I've done 3 more straw sets, and every single time I style it afterwards, it's been different. So I like the different styles I can do with my hair in a straw set! It's fun, I just don't like actually havign to curl it...You want to come help me do mine?? LOL
