  • what is the name of the song from the other espn australian open promo. there was a caption "chasing the sun"

  • what's the promo song? it's a woman's voice with the ocean etc.

  • It`s a good idea but lens flare lol

  • Lajk za Srbiju !!!

  • its similar biut not quite the guitar to kings and queens trust me ive analyzed every guitar variation and its not the same, close but not the same, yes they do use it in their other commerical but i think this was made for the commercial

  • @firebolt3200 yeah you know what, i just noticed my mistake. I got confused. I think it's Where the Streets Have No Name by U2. I may have confused the two because 30 Seconds to Mars covered it recently but yeah I think that's it.

  • @analikesbananasx33 Thats closer, yea I have the acoustic 30 Seconds to Mars Where the Streets Have No Name its not the same guitar part either. I still think its composed just for the commercial, it might still be 30 seconds who did it but Im pretty sure this is unreleased.

  • If anyone is wondering about the song, it's the guitar part of the chorus of the song Kings and Queens by 30 Seconds to Mars. You can't really hear it in the song unless you listen very closely or you hear a live version. it;s also in a different commercial for this but it'sa different part. love this song and love this band!!! <3

  • @lonnegan4 If I do ever manage to find out the name of the song I'll let you know. Please feel free to do the same!

  • @cklinefelter17 I will. Thanks pal! :-)

  • whats the title of the song - anyone???

  • What's that other Australian open commercial with that song where it's a dude like just saying "ahhhhh" through the chorus. Can't find it.

  • @thegolfguy1234567 the other commercial is kings and queens by 30 seconds to mars. im pretty sure this is the same song but only the guitar. I love that sing and the band <3

  • @analikesbananasx33 Oh sweet, thanks been lookin for that song for years.

  • Seriously... what is the name of the song? Does anyone know?

  • @cklinefelter17 I wanna know too!!!

  • I believe that Roger Federer had to appear more in this video. But I loved the effects of brightness of each tennis player. Come on Roger you are the King. Su majestad. EL ETERNO = THE ETERNAL. (Nº1)

  • WHAT IS THE SONG???

  • Comment removed

  • what music song is being used for this commercial?

  • people complain too much it's unbelievable..the fact that this little barely-one minute advert doesn't feature their fav has them so pressed

  • Let's go Sharapova!!

  • I'd love to see Ana Ivanovic and Andy Murray winning 2012 Ausie Open...!

  • want to see loses of main favorites-)-)-)

  • hope venus do well and strongly as she used to...

  • For sure Serene Williams will win the women's title ...

I will go for Roger Federer lifting the men's ...

  • where is petra kvitova?

  • Love you ROGER !!you are the best ! The AO is yours !

  • Novak at the end <3

  • People complain too freaking much!!!!! The advert is great; they chose a great song, they included every single champion since 2007 and the most important Australian players. The images are great they inspire passion about the sport ... this is not a tribute to Australian open semifinalists it is an advert and it is a very good one.

  • OMFG I CAN'T WAIT HOPE FEDERER DOES WELL

  • Brought a well of emotion to my chest. Highlighting the heart and solar plexus chakra's in a sporting promo... great stuff!! Well done.

  • People who don't follow tennis recognize Federer/Nadal. It's an ADVERT people, they aren't trying to be respectful to who has done more in the AO.

  • GET DOWN THEYRE GONNA BLOW!!!

  • Australian Open always ignore Djokovic.

They only care Federer and Nadal.

  • We need the soundtrack title. Could anyone help?

  • does anyone know the song playing?

  • where is murray in spot?/ man play final 2 last years

  • well I'm excited! especially to

live at the heart of it all in gorgeous Melbourne.

  • My heart says Roger Federer and Serena Williams will win the AO 2012.....and I don't want listen to what my brains says))

  • First you show some Australian players (understandable) then mix in Nadal, Sharapova, Williams and Tsonga.

Why not try and focus on the REAL 2011 champions...e.g Djokovic, Li Na ? What has Rafa, Tsonga, Sharapova, Hewitt done at AO last two years?

Where is Murray too (double AO runner up in 2010 and 2011?) = Poor advert, quite disrespectful not even including him in the promotion.

    Poor advert.

  • @ArjunJethwa

Djokovic is in there at the end. Rafa and Fed are the drawcards...crowds come to watch them play whether or not they have won it recently is irrevelant. Murray is a tempermental twat..

  • @SuperWombat32 Should've included Murray. Quite a winner with the crowds.

  • @ArjunJethwa They did show djokovic and Li Na. Also if you haven't noticed this is a commercial. The goal of the commercial is to attract as much people's attention as possible. That said, they do this by finding well known, popular players who are entertaining and of high demand and putting them on the ad. This is not a tennis fan video of some kind its an advertisement trying to help them make more money. So maybe you should look from a different perspective.. its a good commercial.

  • @ArjunJethwa it's simple because THOSE NAMES draw attention!!!!!! a person who doesnt follow tennis would know who these people are

  • @ArjunJethwa because Li Na's ugly

  • @ArjunJethwa and apparently, they show Novak @0:36.. dumb butt..

  • @ArjunJethwa Li Na and Djokovic are in it.. ?

  • @ItsMaddyy @xxxchris1891 Yeah I'm not blind - they do show Na and Djokovic, but they should've put more emphasis on them. I'm more kinda shocked about not showing Murray.

  • @ArjunJethwa First of all Li Na was on it. I don't think you know much about advertising. They put Rafa, Tsonga, Sharapova, Hewitt in there because they're marketable and almost everyone who see or hears their name know who those players are. It's not about who had the most successful 2011, I mean for us tennis nerds yes maybe..but look at it at the point of view of those people who doesn't follow/watch tennis as much as we do. The advert wants to reach out to those people.

  • @ArjunJethwa Because it is an advert, they try to focus on the players who are fan favourites. And besides Djokovic and Li Na are featured just as much as Nadal, Tsonga, Hewitt and Sharapova.

  • @ArjunJethwa omg..just stfu..what's so great about being runner up? flop

  • @kelvinpyaeko Being runner up is better than loosing in R1/R2/R3/R4/QF/SF - normally logic would prevail, right?

  • @ArjunJethwa Having won the AO title in the past is even better than just being in the final and embarrassing himself by losing there, right? ;)

  • @kelvinpyaeko So you'd rather loose in a semifinal then a final? Cool story bro.

Someone who's been in final two years > Been one of top two seeds and loosing in QF two years

  • Comment removed

  • @ArjunJethwa

lol what has stosur done in australia in general, disgraceful there is no murray,he is better than that.tsonga realy????

  • @ArjunJethwa Its a marketing strategy. They are the most popular players whether they've won in the last two years or not. People want to see them the most, so they put them in the commercial.

  • @chowdhary1992 I never said Roger was not the greatest. But like all greats, their times comes & goes, and reality is, as great as Roger is, his time has passed.

  • @dutch1171 you can say that, but he still has what it takes to win a grandslam! He has won Ausi Open more than anyone on tour! Roger 3, Djokovic 2 and Nadal 3! So these things are important! I agree that Djokovic should be under the spot light, but since Roger and Nadal have dominated for so long it will take some time for them to fade away!

  • @FionaCullen7 It has nothing about wanting to see more of Djokovic, my point is that there needs to be a balanced recognition of his current position, and that is that he is the current Aus Open Champion and World Number 1. Roger is/was a great player & receives the recognition accordingly, it is someone else's moment now and this too should be recognized.

  • i'm ready

  • My favourite aus open ad/theme was the 2010 "blue liquid" which really showed our unique court colours and hey, it just looked cool.

  • A lens flare?.. .really?

  • 35 seconds into the 45 sec ad before any sign of the current mens world number 1 and defending champion, really? Just a little favoritism there huh??? C'mon guys, Rafa and Roger ( Rog shown twice in the 45 secs) have had their day in the sun.

  • @dutch1171 Atleast they saved the best till last. But still......

  • @dutch1171 your argument is right, but Roger is the Greatest player of All Time! He is actually the image of tennis!!

  • @chowdhary1992 I AGREE, Roger is the GOAT.

  • @dutch1171 Get over it. If you want to see non stop Djokovic go watch a video dedicated to him?

  • @dutch1171 It's a commercial - the point is to draw more people and money to the AO, and the reality is Roger is still the biggest star in tennis, whether he's No. 1 or not, and tbh probably will be until he retires. And anyway, the ad culminates with Novak - he's hardly missing out.

(Having said that, the AO's commercials never tend to be that good - they should do something like the US Open's It Must Be Love.)

  • First there was tennis, then there is Federer

  • No Caroline...?

  • FIRST to viwe this!!
