How to Jailbreak AppleTV, install NitoTV and Xbox Media Center and Stream Movies from PC or Mac

hi there! when im staling nito tv, specifically when im introducing the apt-get install com.nito.nitoTV i get this error: E: dpkg was interrupted, you must manually run 'dpkg --configure -a' to correct the problem.

Qny idea how to solve it? i would really thank you some help

i followed the steps in the video and itunes gave me an "unable to restore device" message and when i plugged it back into the TV all that was on the screen was a itunes logo and a picture of a usb cord, even though it said successful on seas0npass. did i do something wrong?

Hi, I am having trouble with Nito TV. When I type apt-get update, I get this error message:

E: Malformed line 1 in source list /etc/apt/sources.list.d/awkwar­dtv.list (dist)

The ATV is plugged into the HDMI, I can't find a solution to this anywhere, I'd appreciate your help.

Tried it on PC and it worked first time, and I found the link to my files on my mac much easier by using upnp than the way you show. But overall thanks for the heads up and the help.

This won't work on mac at all it just hangs on patching ramdisk.

Figured out the password problem, I need to download an older version of terminal but now I am suck on my ftp server address. I googled how to set it up in system preferences which I've done but how do i find out what the server address and the remote path is? Hope you can help :-)

Thank you for a great tutorial. You have a talent for what you do. :-) I have a problem with my password. I typed in alpine and was asked to try again and then received this...Permission denied (publickey,password,keyboard-i­nteractive). I started again and have tried several times including passwords I use for other things and nothing is working. Any ideas?

I did a standard reset on itunes. then a fresh jailbreak with seas0npass. then reinstall again using the method on this video. and it works.

Bought an AppleTV because of this video. :) I'm curious though, let's say I want to stream audio from a website like addictedtoradio com that has a bunch of stations, is there a way to access a web browser like safari on a jb'd ATV? I can't always get the URL of a station from these kinds of websites, so I rely on browsers. Figured I'd ask. :)

OMG,WoW,I never realy found the need to get me an AppleTV box before till i saw this. This would come in so handy to watch Movies downstairs on my TV. I never fancied the idea of streaming stuff through iTunes,I get enough of that through my iPhone. @abzhussain hey i would do a normal system restore through iTunes of standard firmware and then jailbreak again and follow the steps once more. catch me on twitter if you get stuck @tfaiso
