I can understand every word of it. But, I'm used to listening to kids perform, and being able to figure out what there saying. She improved a lot between ages 8 and 12. Then again, part of it was that it was live, and people rarely sound as good live =) Still not too bad for a kid.

i don't understand how anyone could watch this video and not comment on her vocals. her voice is amazing. at eight she already had more control over her voice than some of the previous american idol contestant; and her transition from chest to head voice came effortlessly. on top of this her range is exceptional for someone of that age.
