He really sings this song. This comes not from rehearsal but is The Annoingting. I'll never forget, I got to tell it, one day at my church Rev. Dorothy Simms came and got on piano (she is also accomplished organist) and struck up this song, and Ms. Nina Fannin and other's who originally sung this song when it came out on sheet music in the 1950's sung it and it has really carried me through, you hear me! Elder James Lenox was one of the greatest "old school" gospel singers ever. He sang with such conviction and power. He is greatly missed in COGIC for his great wisdom and influence in all circles of gospel music. He was so down to earth and would speak to us and give us that warm fatherly smile no matter where we met him. He reminds me of my own late father who was also a musician and singer and they were close in age. Thank you so very much for posting this wonderful clip.
