  • Australia was forcibly colonised by 1000s of Irish petty criminals shipped there by the English throughout the 19th century.

Ned Kelly (famous Aussie outlaw) claimed to be a proud irishman.

  • ozzie dude baby!

  • Woah!

I completely forgot that he's Aussie. I never heard him speak in interviews before, and in movies he either had an American or a British accent, and it just surprised me.

  • Bloody hell it's wierd hearing my own accent.

  • during the 1600's there was a huge famine in Ireland and people wer starvin and all. so lots of people stole food from the rich. the prisons wer all full, so the english government (who ruled Ireland at that time) introduced a law for that time that any1 cought doing something illegal, were sent 2 australia because it was like a remote almost desert island. This is where alot of Australia's white populatio come from.

  • @SHANEYBOII09 - Where some of the initial immigrants came from. The vast majority are actually free settlers from all over the world.

  • @SHANEYBOII09 The great Irish famine started in 1845- 52 before this there was 1740-41 famine

  • i do like him but when he got punked by ashton kutcher he really started panicking in an unmanly way....

  • You mean, when he thought he might have killed someone and that he's going to jail? 30 minutes of being interrogated by the "police"? (we only see about 8 of those).

I think anyone would have panicked in that situation. Don't see what's "unmanly" about it. But then, I am a woman..

  • I totally agree. I would be shaking in my boots in Hugh possition.
