  • Hey Cecelia! :)

    I don't know how I missed your comment. :(

I hope your holidays went well and my very best to you in the new year! :)

  • Wow, I walked into Tizley's tonight for a drink and there was Kimberly emceeing Open Mike Night. Behind the players I sensed more than her restrained accompaniment offered - she made her fellow musicians sound good. And after hours when she jammed the blues I was afraid her bass was going to burst into flames. This woman is talented! Small hands, big reach, blazing speed and rythm in her soul. Thank you Kimberly!

  • Hiya 'Cat', ;)

A nice complimentary remark, thank you very much and you're most welcome! :)

I hope to see you around, either at my open mike or the various gigs I've been playing around the area. Open mike is cool but, if I do say so myself, my gigs are much better! Lol! ;)

I'm glad you enjoyed your evening and as with the above, hope to see you around. :)

    Best Regards,

    Kimberly :)

PS. Nice writing! You turn a good phrase. :)

  • Hey Kim, Every time I watch you play I know I haven't worked hard enough on my bass playing! Excellent job as always.

  • Hey Ron, :)

I'll take this as a major compliment and thank you very much! :)

    Very Best Regards,

    Kimberly :)

  • No matter what time of the year,a good tune (when done cool-y,of course!).Posting it on myspace,on "Terry" site...THANKS!Very lovely.

  • Hi Terry, :)

Odd...This seems like the second or third time I've responded to your comment. They keep disappearing!

    Thank you very much! :)

    Best Regards,

    Kimberly :)

  • A little early, don't you think :-) Wonderful, none the less! Thank you.

  • Hi Kevin, :)

    Glad you liked it! :)

Yeah, I think it's early for the holidays too, but I'm already starting to see decorations in stores! :|

On a positive note, there's two months to learn the tune in time for the holidays, so there's plenty of time to practice! :)

    Best Regards,

    Kimberly :)

  • Beautiful!

    great reharmonization and flawless execution...

    was the harmony by ear?

  • Hi, :)

    Thank you very much! :)

You asked, 'was the harmony by ear?'

Yep, it was/is. :) I started it/learned it with just a 'lower register' chordal/melody line and into the swing. This year (with my new six string) I just added the 'upper register' chordal/melody sections. I think it's a really nice contrast between the upper and lower registers in both the 'standard' and 'swing' sections. :)

Anyways thanks again, I'm glad you liked my music.

    Best Regards,

    Kimberly :)
