You know the place where u have to climb up the ladder (had to use coat hanger to get ladder down) well, when have gone up the ladders u r in the area where the 2 sets of esculators (however it spelt) well u go up the them, and I think it is the room on the right. I havent played the game for a while so not so sure. But I am confident that it is that room.

Haha....That was a Pendulum. Those things are tough. You can hear them, but you wn't see them untill they're like three feet away fro you. Very hard to kill. So just avoid them untill you get stronger weapons.
