I'll be honest here, that is NOTHING. I was expecting some hang time, and a decent vertical, but that....no no NO.

I'm not saying he can't dunk, I'm saying he better be able to dunk at that height. Not only that, but most 6'4 players are just as good, if not, better, at dunking. He needs to work on hang time and get more air when he jumps.  That wasn't really anything special.

His problem is SPEED.

All objects fall at the same acceleration and land at the same time if falling from the same height. but there is a vertical component and a horizontal component to a dunk unless ur directly under the rim. So if someone were to dunk from further away they travel more DISTANCE in the air NOT TIME this gives the effect that some is in the air longer. u can get better distance in the air by jumping from further away and how u help that is the speed u come in with.

Wow...I guess everybody watched that episode of Sports Science so now we are all experts! Someone down there said it right, hangtime just how long you are in the air b4 touch the ground again. One will obviously be in the air a hair longer, not "hanging", if they land with legs bent and prep for landing at last possible moment before! You are in the air longer than someone of your same height that you can jump higher than, if you tuck them legs its looks even better and u ARE in the air longer.
