@kabulromance34 this one is the ferrari f1-2000. i know this because on the coke section it has MAHLE and SKF on the bottom whereas the F399 has brembo and aerxons below MAHLE and SKF. Also there is more sculpture in the rear wing endplate. also the rear impact structure of the F399 is much higher and on the F1-2000, the rear impact structure and light sits slightly below the beam wing for better CoG. because there were no aero reg changes between 99 and 2000, they are hard to spot :)

Thats the Ferrari 049 3.0 V10 used in the 2000 season it won Schumacher the title with 1 race to go and won 10 out of 17 races that year and got 10 out of 17 pole positions pretty good car for the start of the Ferrari domination till 2004

This Engine was an Ferrari V10 from 1999. It called F399. For that time this engine have around about 750 hp. But in 1999 Formula One Seasen had the Mercedes V10 the most Power of around about 780 hp. Love Formula One lol :))

In 2006 regulations mandated 2.4L V-8 engines and this year with the 8 engines per year rule the rev limiters have been capped at 18,000 RPM to improve longevity. I don't know about the V-12s but the V-10s had roughly 900 BHP in 2005 and the V-8's run between 700 and 780 currently. Hope that info helps.

actually Nascar is built for corners more because of the torque...these motors are built for top speed and that's why they rev so high. Little torque+lots of power=high speed, or F1. Huge Torque+comparably small amount of power=high acceleration and low speed(comparably...)
Nascar cars are not built for corners! F1 cars can take FLAT turns at 3.5 g's and no nascar can do that. The engines in F1 have no torque because the piston stroke is very short, which allows high revs for power. They do not need much torque, the car only weighs 1300lbs. F1 engines only make about 200-250 ftlbs of torque but can still out accelerate any other tracks car. So huge torque does not always mean fast accel.
Nascar is a joke IMO, F1 is the pinnacle of racing, always has always will!
Torque = Acceleration and Horsepower = High speed. This is why prime movers have big, high Torque, Diesel motors and not rotorys as the Torque (Pulling power) is needed to get the load moving.
you completely got it wrong. Nascar are not build for the corner. NSCR are more to top rev endurence. and also F1 cars are not build for top speed. it is build to suite the track. not too fast and not too slow. Nascar also does not have huge amount of torque. if Nascar got huge torque, better the track is a drag strip rather than the oval track.

Depends on the year, early 90s ones had 3.5L V-12s but in more recent years they ran on 3.0L V-10s some running as high as 19,000-21,000 RPM. In 2006 regulations mandated 2.4L V-8 engines and this year with the 8 engines per year rule the rev limiters have been capped at 18,000 RPM to improve longevity. I don't know about the V-12s but the V-10s had roughly 900 BHP in 2005 and the V-8's run between 700 and 780 currently. Hope that info helps.

actually Nascar is built for corners more because of the torque...these motors are built for top speed and that's why they rev so high. Little torque+lots of power=high speed, or F1. Huge Torque+comparably small amount of power=high acceleration and low speed(comparably...)

Nascar cars are not built for corners! F1 cars can take FLAT turns at 3.5 g's and no nascar can do that. The engines in F1 have no torque because the piston stroke is very short, which allows high revs for power. They do not need much torque, the car only weighs 1300lbs. F1 engines only make about 200-250 ftlbs of torque but can still out accelerate any other tracks car. So huge torque does not always mean fast accel.
Nascar is a joke IMO, F1 is the pinnacle of racing, always has always will!

Torque = Acceleration and Horsepower = High speed. This is why prime movers have big, high Torque, Diesel motors and not rotorys as the Torque (Pulling power) is needed to get the load moving.

you completely got it wrong. Nascar are not build for the corner. NSCR are more to top rev endurence. and also F1 cars are not build for top speed. it is build to suite the track. not too fast and not too slow. Nascar also does not have huge amount of torque. if Nascar got huge torque, better the track is a drag strip rather than the oval track.
