  • WOW! thats game show host Tom Kennedy as a young man.

  • cool

  • still as awesome as the old commersial say..

  • Einfach super

My Favorite Plymouth is the Fury Wagon from 1976

  • I won it. im a ninety year old black man

  • -Keep the dough,i'll keep the car............

  • Tom Kennedy was Plymouth's spokesman in their 1957-'58 commercials, on "LAWRENCE WELK'S TOP TUNES AND NEW TALENT" and Betty White's "DATE WITH THE ANGELS" (of which this spot originated from).

  • 500 a month is still good coin today.. 50 yrs on.. I wonder who actually won and what did they do with the car and the cash

  • You can keep the 500.00, I'll take the car!

  • Isn't that long-time game show host Tom Kennedy (You Don't Say, Split Second, etc.)? Looking pretty young here!

  • it sure sounds like him anyway

  • Heck, $500/month is still good money today! Though, in 2007 dollars, that'd be $3,600/month, which is even better money

  • Funny right, I wonder who won the 500$ Lotto 1000k a week for life. Mabye GM and Mopar should offer that now with the bailout money!

  • 50 years on..and everything the salesman said back then is still true!..will a modern car ad be as true in another 50 years?

  • Absolutely they don't.
