C'mon now - he's hardly a mediocre ex-president. Even though you may not support his wife, take a look at the Clinton Global Initiative; he's done a lot to stimulate charitable donations towards global health, anti-poverty efforts, and changes to combat climate change.
I stand corrected. He is a mediocre elder statesman. His charity work is fantastic. However, right after the Gore/Bush debacle he came out in support of Bush in order to try and mend the anger in the country, which was awesome, but recently he has used himself as a political tool which I feel is unbecoming of an ex president.

Clinton has fought hard for change and delivered it even when it wasn't popular or getting her headlines. We need a president who will work hard for us when the going gets tough, not just give a speech and head to Camp David for a round of golf - like Bush does. Obama looks to me like a catch-phrase candidate. Promises without a track record to believe in are a little empty to me.

I emailed the Obama campaign several times about this one. Make this into an ad and run it over and over and over. It exposes the negativity, deceit and lies of the Hillary (AKA the monster) campaign. It all comes down to this: is she worthy of your vote? Answer: no. America: wake up and vote for Obama. Believe an European who cannot vote in the US. Vote for Obama. We'll all be better off.

Accomplishments? Gee, I can only think of a few:
1) Took the lead on '07 bipartisan ethics legislation
2) Introduced (and passed) legislation on nonproliferation (co-introduced with Lugar, a Republican)
3) Introduced legislation to incentivize auto industry investment in alternative energy
4) Expanded KidCare (Illinois' SCHIP program) and FamilyCare, and passed the Health Care Justice Act to look for other ways to expand state coverage . . .
And now, I'm out of room. :) So, uh, yes he can.

I stand corrected. He is a mediocre elder statesman. His charity work is fantastic. However, right after the Gore/Bush debacle he came out in support of Bush in order to try and mend the anger in the country, which was awesome, but recently he has used himself as a political tool which I feel is unbecoming of an ex president.

Clinton has fought hard for change and delivered it even when it wasn't popular or getting her headlines. We need a president who will work hard for us when the going gets tough, not just give a speech and head to Camp David for a round of golf - like Bush does. Obama looks to me like a catch-phrase candidate. Promises without a track record to believe in are a little empty to me.
Hillary is the only candidate I see as a real hope for our future.
