Wherever he is now he's probably watching a galaxy rise from a globular cluster listening corny 70s classical music. Or sailing the cosmic ocean. Or making whale sounds. Or flying his dandelion spaceship. Or reading the encyclopaedia galactica. I'm getting carried away but if you watched cosmos you will get these refrences. If you didn't you'll probably think I'm crazy. Go Carl!
I think he's sailing the Cosmic ocean aboard the dandelion ship of the imagination set on autopilot while reading the encyclopædia galactica and listening to Vangelis.
I don't think he believed in an "afterlife" though.
@randomuser1975 - No youre right he definitely didnt believe. He definitely constructed a machine to make him immortal or something cause hes just that awesome
I wish more than anything that I could meet this man. I guess it's too late though. The world lost a great man on that morning of December 21st 1996. Eight days before my fourth birthday. That's all I have to say except RIP Dr. Carl Sagan
Sagon touched many people during his life. The most import was opening minds and eyes, teaching and discovering; those were his most important traits. He will be sadly missed.
rarely people garner fame and may be called unique, even rarer still is it for good noble reasons, among all those people this man stands on his own, a truely compassionate truth seeker and teacher, we are less a civilisation without the likes of him around.
I believe he wished for everyone else in the world to think a little more. So, at the very least, I hope he managed to plant the seeds of thought in at least a few people. Generating more Carl Sagan-minded people. I know that when I discovered Carl Sagan I just couldn't stop thinking "Wow... I think so much like this man thought." I already thought with the concepts he taught, personally. But, to think that he manage to get out there and inspired others to think, that's what amazes me about him.
Dear YouTube friends:Dr. Carl Sagan was a very happy man when the matter was the Universe. Now he is Across the Universe, finding out more and more mysteries, teaching more and more spiritual beings, seeing what he always craved for:The Stars! God Bless You and thank your for your company!

I heard this song in 9th grade and was blown away. I saw Cosmos a year earlier. My fave Soc. Studies teacher, Mrs. Bintz said "Jai Guru Deva Om" meant "The wise man speaks the word". Another xlation is Praise or thanks to the divine teacher. I think it's appropriate. :-)
Sagan was just plain awesome.
