The 1% pays over 22% (depending on the year) of ALL THE TAXES. The simple hard cold fact is that the rest of you are not paying your share and the 1% is paying over 22X it's share.

Only time the police have used force on protesters is when they refused to stop blocking thoroughfares or refused to move out of public parks. Cops had full authority to do so. Reality Check: The 99% does not pay it's share of the taxes. The 1% pays about 22% of all taxes and almost 40% of all the income taxes despite being only 1% of the population. Nothing stops the 99% from making income from investment which would be taxed at the same rate as investment income of the 1%. The 99% simply fails to avail themselves of the tax code the politicians they elect put into effect.
