The Beatles were barely rock, if you count Pop rock. Fuck, today's rock is heavier the Beatles. Don't get me wrong, I love some of their work, and they had lots of creativity and art in their songs, but to call them the greatest rock band in the world, or even a rock band, is pretty fucking dumb.

Beatles aren't rock. They are Rock and Roll, there is a big difference.

One of the main reasons they are the greatest rock and roll band is because of the influence they have given to everyone. Kids seeing the beatles would've been inspired to pick up the guitar because of them, and thus creating a lot of bands that are popular today. Did you know bands such as U2, Oasis and Coldplay are Beatlese influenced? Theres something for you to think about.

Starkey and Lennon were talentless egotistical bastards.
