my school closed down, last year and everybody didnt want it to close down because we all new it because it was a small highschool and we all knew and had friends, so it was really hard for us. so we would always sing this song when the topic of us not being alble to go to that school anymore. :(

does anyone know what the instrument is that plays between some of the singing? it sounds like a flute almost but not quite... i hear it in a lot of christian bands and i'm trying to figure out exactly what it is

The only reason that christian prayers fails these days is because ppl don't endure anymore...

be careful of playing songs with a timed slide in the backrground...It forces you to have to time your song perfectly, and if you sway form the tempo it will get a little sketchy

It is metaphor of repentance, being cleansed. In repentance we are washed from our sins. Read Psalm 51: 2, 7. The river symbolizes water. Jesus is the living water.

brians a really nice guy i actually knew him in person because i went to his church about a year ago when i was living with my fiance. but we broke up so i had to move. i miss brian though he was super cool and the church only sang his songs, nobody elses. so if you ever get the chance to meet him ull never forget his kind gentle spirit :)

I totally agree with you. He's so humble and like you said, you never forget his gentle spirit...he and Philip Janz, along with Steve Mitchinson have sort of become friends to me over the last few months...I have a really cool memory, that YouTube does not have room for me to write about...I would love to sing this song with Brian, but I don't see that happening anytime soon, if at all...I could go on, but I won't ramble...lol

This is the best song ever. Brian keep singing for Jesus. One day when I was going through situation, and this song came up, and it really brought tears for me. Jesus is a wonderful Saviour, who redeemed me. I want to sing to Jesus when I see Him face to face.
