Hey Benji! Great video! I think you should try Chicory tea. It is actually used as a substitute for coffee for those who cannot have caffeine and who enjoy tea - it's also used for health benefits (gallstones, sinus problems, etc.). I have been a barista for years and have found that not many people know about it, but it actually does taste somewhat like coffee (though not the greatest coffee.. I love good coffee so there is no substitute for me! lol) and those who drink it like it lots. Try it!
a tip for brewing the tea would be to place a lid on top for a bit so all the flavor can be brewed better =). I wasn't sure if you did that yet benji because I didn't see it on the vid, but if you do do it, it tastes so much better! =] ,
and oh, can you do a video on green tea? and which brand you recommend?

Have you tried Teeccino? I can't drink coffee, so I tried Teeccino and it's pretty good. It's essentially roasted herbal tea and it's caffeine free. They market it as a coffee substitute. Never heard of roasted oolong tea as a coffee substitute, so I'll give that a try also. I really enjoy these Tea Tuesdays by the way.

@aaemery12 that's personal preference, if you want to put milk in go ahead, if it taste good why not. I do recommend using low fat milk, something less creamier.
I love tea growing up my mom would always have tea for us she said it was good I don't drink soda but I think ima give this tea a try can you add sugar to it? This came at a perfect time. I was drinking coffee every day and am trying to cut down again. The cold weather got to me and I started the addiction again. I was looking for a tea alternative and was considering chai tea or something else. Thanks for making these videos. :D
What do you suggest for someone like me who likes tea but very sweet, such as using lots of sugar and honey. I want to start eating/drinking a little more healthier and im very picky about my teas. They have to have a sweet and/or fruity flavor.
@ericav330 i'd personally say, stick with your favorite teas, but just slowly decrease the amount of sugar/honey you use. Eventually, you'll get used to the less sweet tea and you'll be able to expand to a bunch of other teas without adding sugars. So say you put like 4 teaspoons of sugar in your cup of tea, next time go to 3 1/2 then to 3, then to 2 1/2.. and so on. Hope that helps! it helped for me :)
@ericav330 Its the texture is of honey or maple syrup but not as sweet and its flavor is more similar to maple syrup. Its said to be healthier because its 100% natural but I haven't actually researched it myself.

Hi Benji. Have you ever tried Mate Tea? It is Brazilian and is also a great substitute for coffee!

but ooii Benji, 1) is there a maximum time to let the first oolong tea residue tea sit, in which after that we cant use it for a second time ? and 2) for tea to optimally assist our metabolism , do we drink it before or after our meal ? ... hope you read this comment, and maybe in your next episode .. oshiete kudasai nee ? doumo in advance =)

@aaemery12 that's personal preference, if you want to put milk in go ahead, if it taste good why not. I do recommend using low fat milk, something less creamier.

I love tea growing up my mom would always have tea for us she said it was good I don't drink soda but I think ima give this tea a try can you add sugar to it? What best tea you recommend me to give my fiancé cuz his like addicted to soda and I can't stop him from drinking it plus the gas is bad for you. Thanx. Love the videos benji :)

This came at a perfect time. I was drinking coffee every day and am trying to cut down again. The cold weather got to me and I started the addiction again. I was looking for a tea alternative and was considering chai tea or something else. Thanks for making these videos. :D

What do you suggest for someone like me who likes tea but very sweet, such as using lots of sugar and honey. I want to start eating/drinking a little more healthier and im very picky about my teas. They have to have a sweet and/or fruity flavor.

@ericav330 i'd personally say, stick with your favorite teas, but just slowly decrease the amount of sugar/honey you use. Eventually, you'll get used to the less sweet tea and you'll be able to expand to a bunch of other teas without adding sugars. So say you put like 4 teaspoons of sugar in your cup of tea, next time go to 3 1/2 then to 3, then to 2 1/2.. and so on. Hope that helps! it helped for me :)

@ericav330 Its the texture is of honey or maple syrup but not as sweet and its flavor is more similar to maple syrup. Its said to be healthier because its 100% natural but I haven't actually researched it myself.
