Nintendo bring this guy back as a villain in future Zelda games!

I admit, I almost always hate new villains, especially when replacing ultra-badasses like Ganondorf (one of my favorite villains ever, alongside Shao Kah and Sephiroth) but this cutscene alone added him to my list.

Yeah yeah I know the ending, but why can't we made a direct SS sequel with him being resurrected or free of Demise or something? They've brought Ganondorf back countless times, so why not Lord Ghirahim as well?

@Floodhuner I am sad to admit, that while it doesn't really seem like he died at the end, he disappeared much like Demise did. Ganondorf has been brought back multiple times because of the timeline. As OoT has 3 different timeline splits, he had to appear in all of them, if you consider that he doesn't actually die in OoT. He only gets sealed in the future, to later destroy Hyrule, leading to the events on WW. While Ghirahim doesn't have any way of returning, but you never know.

I loved that feeling when I slowly realized that Ghirahim's true form kind of looked like Fi, and then looked at him in sword form and noticed it was like an evil Master Sword.

I've been browsing a bunch of Legend of Zelda sites lately and read a comment that maybe if Fi hadn't spent all that time sealed inside the Goddess statue, she would have developed more personality and become fully emotive like Ghirahim. Very interesting.

@gmaster991 I personnally think that the reason as to why Ghirahim has so much personality and emotions compared to Fi could either be because A) Ghirahim was forced to spend centuries on his own without his master and thus dveloped his own "self" or B) Ghirahim, unlike Fi had been wielded by a very passionate warrior for a long time and thus shares his bloodlust etc, while Fi was still waiting for one to wield her and thus hasnt "imprinted" yet.. C) a mix of both

I really wish Ghirahim could come back for another game, but he's now sealed into the Master Sword so I doubt it. :( Which royally sucks... He's my favorite character I have ever seen in any game, I absolutely adore him.

@masakarasunokaasu He is the best antagonist so far imo :D But yes it does suck that he's gone... He wasn't sealed in to the Master Sword though, I don't think... That sword belonging to Demise just, dissapeared or was destroyed in thin air when Demise was beaten. He could always be around if there was a prequel to SS I guess :) But maybe it's best for him to stay in this game to avoid ruining his character or making him too repetitive if he's in another game, idk.

@tulk4321 Demise was, yes. The sword he had wasn't a part of him... it was just a sword. Just like Fi wasn't a part of Link. The sword was destroyed when Demise was beaten, so yeah I do believe that it's very likely Ghirahim died right there and then when the sword dissapeared. But, you never know.

@Dzzy123 That would make sense. It would make him an Evil Counterpart to Fi - and further, it would account for his enormous fighting skill.

Given that he is a sentient weapon given humanoid form, he obviously is meant to fight and kill - and that's why he was able to fight Link to a stalemate in their first round.
