is it true that white boxes have some sort of genetic anamoly? i was told once that white boxers were deaf or something...just wondering! he's a beautiful dog.
@kayladenny19 some white ones are born deaf or blind but easy enough to check if your getting a white boxer. personally i love the red/fawn ones with black eyes and a white stripe down their face.soooooooo cute!!

Beautiful boxer! My white boy was the same way when he was younger, people always hounding me about whether or not I fed him (even though he was fed a balanced, correct caloric intake everyday). You can tell this dog isn't unhealthy if you'd look at it's very muscular legs and neck. If it was unhealthy, he's be skin and bones not lean muscle. It's just how boxers are, and the white shows that off more. Love the vid!

@deadlydragon nah we wormed her, but i think all the fat is going into her muscles, i have a big garden and she always runs around it so she isnt putting any weight on, but when i was in school (summer holidays) all she did was sit around and then she was putting abit of weight on.
@LovedByGod123 , that dog is at a decent weight for a boxer. The vet tells me that we are supposed to see the ribs. Mine is a little fatter and the vet tells me he has to lose a couple pounds. I just can't do it considering he was a rescue and was SERIOUSLY underweight when we got him. I will not put him on a diet! Seriously though, that dog is in great shape. People should learn about the breed and the proper weight for the breed before making ignorant comments.
Both my boxers loved to wake me up, my parents would let them in my room and said "go wake him up" and they would jump right on top of me... would lick me awake.. haha so cute! good times!

She is just so energetic, and gets so much exercise that she burns off more calories than most dogs would after eating. Beautiful dog though. My dog and I play this game as well.
He's not skinny he's just young! Boxers tend to be all leggy until they're about 2 - 2.5 years cause they're so dam energetic and all the excess goes into growth! He'll pork out soon enough!

That dog is so handsome and healthy. Vets want bigger dogs to be on the slender side to prevent joint problems. A pet on the thinner side tend to have a better quality of life and life span. That dog is obviously loved and well cared for.
my buddies male does this just 100x worse. if you lay on the floor and cover up with a blanket, he goes ballistic!!. he nips, chews and bounces on you till he can see you.

@youuknow13 I have a boxer and it is almost impossible to fatten him up. He is nearly 3 and I feed him twice a day - double his recommended daily intake of dog buscuits plus I cook up chicken rice and vegetables. They are so full of energy they just burn straight through it.

@youuknow13 You apparently don't know how to gauge a dog's weight properly. It's also preferred for large dogs to stay very lean and even slightly underweight to relieve stress off of their joints. The dog does not look anywhere near "unhealthy".
@youuknow13 No he doesn't. Boxers have naturally large chests that almost exaggerate their small waists....almost like cheetahs. If you cant see his pelvic bone sticking out from under his skin then he aint unhealthy. This boxer looks very healthy to me.

@youuknow13 In all honesty I don't think the dog is unhealthy. Most boxers have a high energy level and will constantly run around. My boxer Gonzo was that skinny but he ate like a pig but he was super hyper and ran it all off afterwards.

The biggest mistake people make with boxers is getting them fat.
If you see the muscles under the skin, he is fat enough.
They get heartproblems real fast.

i have a white boxer also and his name is archie. but he has a brown spot on his eye and part of his butt. Boxers OWN all other dogs!!:)))

aww my uncles boxer dose that ill video some time and youtube it.. he will lick you first of all to wake you up and when you just think..ahh please leave meee, i get under the covers and he will do aanything to get under with me =]
