i gotta say.... i have a v6 thats had about 3 grand worth of custom exhaust installed in it and ive never heard another v6 mustang sound as good as mine......and ive heard a fuck ton!!!!.......dude, ur car sounds AMAZING!!!!!!!!

Nice! I've got a '10 V6 that I can't decide what type of exhaust to go with. This sounds amazing! I've seen videos of V6's with exhaust but this is by far the best. How did you get that deep grumble?

ok i have a question..anybody can answer.. i have a 2001 mustang v6.. and i got magnaflow dual exhaust on it.. i still have the stock cat-backs on it.. if i buy LT headers will that make it any louder?? i just dont want to spend the $600 for the computer chip for the cat backs..lol.. let me kno anybody..Thank you!

@hgullett I'm not saying a v6 is a bad car (I'm trying to find one for a daily driver). Ive spent a long time watching v6 exhaust videos, and Ive never found one that has that muscle car sound.

@hgullett Muffler deletes with an x pipe sound pretty thoaty, it doesn't sound like a V8 (which is not possible by the way) but it doesn't sound ricey either, it's deep and has a nice growl to it. check my vids if you like

hey where did you get headers for an 05-10 v6?

I got a 2010 and I want to do long tube headers to go with a dual exhaust.

I googled pacesetter but they didn't have anything for v6 mustangs.

Thats badass man. i have a 05 v6 too and the miles are getting up there and i was thinking of throwin in a v8. How much did it cost aprox.? and did you get to use the same driveline or was everything compleatly rebuilt?

yeah the long tubes were not an easy install on the 4.0. would have been much better on a lift but expect 3 or more hours. not easy but not impossible. an yeah these are not on the car any mor as i have swapped a v8 in.

Its not a v6 its a gt, pacesetter does not make a header, or a long tube header for the 2005+ v6 mustang, that sounds gt all the way, prove me wrong and youve madea customer, cause it sounds nice, even if it is a gt. Nice car.

look at the v6 foe gas cap, and black v6 rockers. Granted we cant see the engine but seems kind ass backwards to put v6 parts on it if it were a GT

At the time I bought my exhaust setup, I wanted to do headers but they said it would be very complex so I didn't do it. But i love the sound of the long tubes so I wanna do it now haha

I have an 05 V6 mustang. Great sound.

Did you have to do any retuning to the computer after taking of the Cats. I have heard that on newer cars, you just cant go and get the cats cut off, it would mess up the computer and the air flow??

Probably if you remove your O2 censor....But I'm pretty sure you need that for your car to run.

the car has 4 o2's total. you only need the front two to run. and you'll have to have the rear o2's urned off in the tune so the CEL wont come on.
