to make his shadow couldn't u somehow animate a silhouette of the character and lay it flat on the ground and rotate when your character rotates? that's all i can think of.

Is this a different village or still his home village
cause those cows have rotten alot and that caged guy i just a skeleton
so either he stayed in the forest for a LOOON time or the killers ate them
