wow - craazy high jumps.. they can be damaging, yes - but people do not jump their horse over those kind of heights every day. To train for a puissance, the most things they do is trot and trot and canter and trot to get the horse fit. Most people only jump their horses once or twice a wekk if it is over 1m
@skrzacik93 umping is good exercise for the horse. But honsestly those heights are not normal. The impact of the lands on the horses knee's would damage them overtime. 3.21+ is a perfect example, his legs buckled when landed. Im not against jumping ... read the comment ... i just think its cruel making a horse jump such high jumps. + the majority of riders put so much strain on the horse from the bit yet keep whiping them
@2010MissCooper hmm..so may, if the ground was softer behind a obstacle , it would not be such a burden? I think that the idea of slogging records is good, but may not be improved;)
And it seems to me that when the horse jumping 50 times a day by the same obstacle, as well as damaging his knees a single jump.
So far I have not read anything about horse biomechanics so admit that I am green;
@2010MissCooper You are right. Recently I watched the championship at the Kentucky and arabian equestrians suprised me with his horseriding. Rich shakes buying horses perfectly well that to destroy them for first place.
I would like to make people change their type of riding for a natural, but I think that it is not possible. Horse riding is not maintained without the income of sport and do not all have the ability for naturalhorsemanship.
lol, love the pic at the end.

i think it isnt's good for the horses-.-'
its to high for their bones.
up to 1.40m it would be okey but 2m and higher is a danger.

I think its cruel making horses jump such high jumps. The impact of the landing would damage their legs. Its cruel

@2010MissCooper and when horse jumps all time 1,5m, jump don't damage horse legs?
In that case, equestrianism should not be sport, because horses can not develop their physical abilities, and there is no sport without sacrifices.

@skrzacik93 I dont care, in time to come when the horse is older he will have problems with joints, muscular problems etc
Im into natural horsemanship, not this shit where the horse HAS to be perfect for its dumb ass rider to get first place
