@jessicafischerqueen No. I think the link you are making is that Mike Oldfield, who did write the music for the movie "The Exorcist" also produced a CD with the title "Songs of a Distant Earth," which is not related to this video.
Why do you title it as HD video when its only 480p ??? If you dont understand what means HD then get some info before you make yourself look like an idiot.
@Jazzmanpac Well, excluding your flaming comment about me looking like an idiot, I agree with your point. "HQ" was what I MEANT to put on the title, but have been too busy to fix it. 480 was the limitation because the source videos are from regular DVDs and not HD (unfortunately). Since this is not Clockwork Orange, there is no one here to force you to watch it. Peace.
Excellent! I'm a student at the University of Washington and would love to use some of this footage for a non-profit classroom project video on our solar system... I'm particularly interested in the Earth animation around 3:13 --could I have permission to use it? If so, please PM me ASAP!! Thank you so much~
I agree. I especially enjoy "Baraka" and "Lost Worlds" in addition to this CD. He has a number of collaborations with other ambient composers that are well done.
Wow; thanks for creating and sharing! It reminds me of my trip to Tibet; greatness is placed in everything... and greatness is in all of us... Let's care and share..
From my description, I wrote: "An ambient space documentary that I created, set to one of my favorite pieces of music: the 40 minute, 7 part "Chronos" by Michael Sterns." Chronos was written for a IMAX movie some years ago, but you can still purchase this CD from Amazon and other places. Glad you enjoyed it!
What software are you using to render this?

@Galvathorax I used Corel VideoStudio 12 to splice the scenes and mix the audio and to produce the resulting video files that I uploaded.

This is awesome - thanks a lot!
It's a pity it's not really available in HQ/HD (at least not to me). This is one video where one would really benefit from that.

Is this from the Oldfield album or is it you that is the composer (i got a bit confused)
I love the music and the video, the same goes for the rest of the series that you have posted, Marvellous music indeed!!
