@MrDoulikewaffles7 i'm sure if you eat it you won't feel to well but your not going to die. It is a naturally occuring substance and you can use it for a lot of things around your house. Your mother may just not want you to use it, but in small amounts and provided you aren't going to eat the stuff then it's ok.

I like using Liquid Bluing. It comes in a blue jug. It will give it a very slight blue tint but, you can add food coloring after you divide it. It works just like this. Just pour the the bluing in a bowl and add the glue. Pick the globs out just like he did. It bounces and will pick up news print. Put it in a cup and poke hard at the edges for a flutter putty. The air trapped under it will make the noise. Kids love this stuff!

if u just mix the borax in with the glue/water solution while in the bowl, and sturr it around, it is not half as messy, second you add the food coloring before you finish the "gak?"
