It takes courage to fight, yes... but it takes even more to turn the other cheek. If anyone hits you on one cheek, let him hit the other one too; if someone demands your shirt, give him your cloak as well. (Necesita tener coraje para luchar, si... pero necesita más para ofrecer la otra mejilla. Si alguién te pega en una mejilla, ofrécele también la otra; y si alguién te quita la capa, déjale que se lleve también tu camisa.)
Coraje could be used both for anger and courage. "Tener coraje" is to have courage, the translation is good. There is no spanish word to translate courageous, since valiente or valeroso means brave, and couragoeus is more like a combination of brave, determined and passionate (se necesita coraje para hacer eso: it takes courage to do that). Spanish is my native tonge.
Great song!! I have a question-in the Spanish, doesn't Coraje mean anger and courageous is more like Valeroso? I could be wrong, since Spanish is my second language.
@lkparra1 Valeroso would be like Valor which would be another way of saying Courage but no exactly courageious though it could be used. Anger is "Ira, enojo or colera". Courageous can be translated as Valor but that translated more like it is spelled Valor. So two good words are Coraje or Valiente. Hope this helps
