@MrMweisskopf Likely because of the guitar during the service, but Conservative Judaism also encourages women to wear kippot if they should so choose.
Anger and judgement are a danger to Judaism, not any one sect. If we could come together as Jews instead of squabbling over ritual we'd get a lot further along an enlightened path.
@rotemsh1 that is not true at all. its not good for you to blindly assume that what Orthodox Judaism is about. first of all, we can go off on you saying "you go against the torah and you do only what is convenient for you". Having said that, women and men have separate roles in Judaism and women are respected and revered by the Jewish religion.
why a woman need to set in the side and not take the same part as the men in the service and prayers....you know what maybe for a woman to wear kippa is to much...ok but why she can't sit next to a man....why a man should read every time in the synguge..thanx god for not creating me a female!
that's why i respect refrms and conservative...they know how to respect ladies unlike you!
@rotemsh1 first of all, i very much know how to respect women thank you. secondly, you are right, some orthodox jews dont respect women but thats not the right thing to do. and respect and separate seating is completely different, i dont see how you put that together. And our minds arent too closed, thats hypocritical for you to say because you dont even know the reasoning behind separate seating. men and women dont sit together so the men wouldnt be distracted when praying to G-d
i know it is the "reason" so why the man doesn't sit on the side but the woman is...is it our fault men are to horny...can't sit next to a lady with out think about sex or i don't know...
@rotemsh1 its the way were made. if were sitting next to a women were not going to focus on G-d the entire service. anyway, i know plenty of ultra-orthodox people who are not like that so i dont think you should say that all of them see that way. and im not brainwashed at all, im just being honest. and in berachot, women say thanks hashem for making us how we are
@rabble000 your minds are too closed! no joke....you don't like any one but your own kind and sometimes even hate groups in your own socitey...
just for your Knowledge men and women are allowed to sit next to each other according to the bible! in the 2 Temples we had all the people were together, but one year a crazy rabbi decided to change it...so don't say it's god's wants or for respect the woman.....it's just a crazy creation of idiot man!
@rotemsh1 if you knew the issue of separate seating, you would see that it is not derogatory to women at all. by the way, the reason men wear kippot and women dont is because men have a stronger "yeitzer hara" or evil inclination, and need to constantly be reminded that G-d is always watching you. so if anything, its offensive to man rather than women. And every friday night we say eishet chayil, a song that praises ones wife. (you could search it and look at the lyrics if you want)
man i know the song...i'm jewish..and i went few times to the synguge next to my house..every morning the say thanx god for not creating me a woman..i think it is just wrong for someone to say it! really wrong!
maybe you are too brainwashed to get it....you are welcome to see the great sociteys in usa of conservative and reformes...i'm sure you can also find some in israel..i know not all of the orthodox are like that.....but all the ultra orthodox are..and don't even try to say no..

It's sad...
they took the Holy Torah and changed it how they want...
they changed it allmost completely....
they thought to fit the Judiasm to the Western culture. teh wetsern culture it's Gentiles's culture we should not fit the holy torah to them.
Jew that want to return to God, to return to Judaism, think that Reformers it's Judaism and go for it...
also non-jewish people that want to convert to Judaism go to the Reforesrs and doing fake convertion.

i can't see how this video could offend anyone. people seems to be happy enjoying sabbath and singing songs, just as it should be.

@rotemsh1 no disprespect but i think you need to differentiate more between hate towards women and being more careful with you relationship with G-d.
