  • Somehow I think this franchise would work as a Dreamworks animated movie. Just a hunch. The Spirit has sort of an unlikely hero ala' Shrek quality about him. Where he seemingly doesn't want to do his job and steps into a mess when he gets there.

  • In some ways this really captures the good hearted goofball nature of the comic character, which I wasn't really expecting!

  • this is entertaining...its pretty obvious that the 80's (my decade) was the decade of orginality and change worthwhile...not overly sleasy, pretty comical and action packed....miller's version is artisitic but falls flat with useless dialouge and bizzare angles
