You know it never fails... I was in the hospital and in the room when Mom gave birth to my brother and I cried... and it never changes for anything! Its sooo such a beautiful thing giving birth! Im sure she will be an amazing mom! very very sweet and heart warming! I cried when this little guy came out! thanks for sharing a beautiful experience!
Good vid but i think you should of let the birth be natural without you helping and the mother should of cleaned the foal her self ... But really cutee foal and lovely mare :)
Because the scent of the placenta goes away. You only ever use a towel to rub them if their mother has rejected them and they therefore have no body heat, or they are born prematurely and they are very cold. Hope this helps

ya the foal is very adorable i love watching foals being born....ive seen the real thing but i just think its a miracle and i hope there doing great,,,and mabey he can be a daddy himself one day
Hi Lindsay, We had 2 fillies and 1 colt-- One was born before I got to mom, I got to assitst with one, slmost to the degree you did in your video, and one filly was born not moving after a huge thunder storm.. I had to briskly rub her, the vet had to come, we had to milk out the mare 3 times in three hours and feed it to the filly, then FINALLY she was able to stand and nurse on her on at 4 am that morning! Today you'd never know she had a rocky start-- such a beauty, too.
