For all you David Simon fans, Lamar is played by DeAndre McCullough, one of the main focuses of Simon and Ed Burns' book, The Corner, later adapted into an HBO mini-series. His mom, Fran Boyd, another main character in the book, plays the nurse who tests Bubbles for HIV/AIDS in S5 too.
This Character leaves so many questions that's what makes it so dope...Who and the Fuck is Lamar? His Valet? Body Guard? Apprentice? Man this show was incredible
@dfgreen14 Yes, I believe the Brother tries to convince Hitch in the existence of a higher being. Hitch only responds by baiting Brother about Islamo-fascism in the Nation of Islam.
My mom saw this scene on one of her political blogs and loved it. Hasn't seen the show though.
The line "Brother Mouzone Wants His Harper's" alone made me laugh before I clicked it. I think Brother and Lamar were one of my favorite duos on the show, they somehow remind me of Pinky and the Brain.
i absolutely LOVE that quote "You know what the most dangerous thing in America is, right? Nigger with a library card." because its a very very true statement. knowledge is power, knowledge can make you a very dangerous person as well.
yALL know what a good scene on the wire is? OMG! its the scene when Stringer Bell visits Brother Mouzone in the HOSPITAL. in less than 10 mins, STRINGER'S DUMB ARSE confesses to setting up brother Mouzone (the hit in the gut from Omar) without even being ASKED. OMG! WHERE IS THAT SCENE AGAIN!?!
Whats the most dangerous thing in America?

I love that little chuckle he drops at the end, like he understands the irony of his own character.
