Sterling Holloway was a disney veteren for his voice. he also voiced rouqfert the mouse in "the aristocats", and became a narrator for many cartoon shorts like "the cold blooded penguin", "lambert the sheepish lion", "goliath II", "susie the little blue coupe", "the little house", and "peter and the wolf".
How do you feel about the ending of this movie? Touching, isn't it? Thanks to Walt's improvement, they finally got started on the "boy meets girl" sequence where Mowgli sees the girl from the Man Village and her song lures him to her. Pretty cool and romantic don't you think?
@JulieRebu07 Actually, Sterling Holloway voiced the stork in "Dumbo," the Cheshire Cat in "Alice in Wonderland," and Kaa in this movie. And after that, THAT'S when he was cast in "The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh" as Pooh. No matter what movie he was in, every character had his voice, but if you close your eyes, you can picture one of his characters. Pretty cool, don't you think?
@bcakapinky Actually: Winnie the Pooh and the Blustery Day was done as an individual theatrical short before the Many Adventures came out, and Walt was still alive when the short finished.
@gojiranotgodzilla Not to mention the fact that DIsney animation continued. Think about it, if JB was not a success, no Aladdin, Emperor's new groove etc.
@gojiranotgodzilla Yeah it is very sad, but sometimes think that Walt didn't really die, he just saw that his animators and movie staff had improved on their skills and were at the top of their game on Jungle Book, and Walt just said to himself, "They're doing good on their own....my services are no longer required" Because I think in a way Walt knew that Jungle Book was something very special to him....it's his swan song!
Aww....that's really beautiful and inspiring about Frank and Ollie because I sometimes feel that the relationship between Baloo and Mowgli was almost autobiographigal for them! RIP Frank & Ollie!

Verna Felton was one of the most versatile voice actresses that ever worked for Disney!

@Rkerekes13 Next to the Matriarch Elephant in "Dumbo," she used the same voice for Mrs. Hathi.

It was sad that Walt Disney died after suggesting the ending but lucky the film succeeded and became a blockbuster motion picture.
