My chefs in culinary school would yell at anyone they caught using a dry measuring cup to measure liquids.. so I have to admit, I cringed when I saw you measure the heavy cream.. but thanks for the recipe. I've neve
@Harusama I know, I learned the proper way in culinary school too, but sometimes in your home kitchen you just gotta use whats clean and that day my volume measuring cup was dirty..LOL..check out my bloopers I had a blonde moment on what to call it..LOL...But I do have so say good call on calling me out on it..most kidos are just learning so sometimes I try to make it a little easier for everyone and just try to have fun baking!! xoxo
@POSTALIFE milk chocolate has different fat solids than bittersweet so it might turn out clumpy or not as smooth,as for under fondant. I don't use it enough to experiment with it if it would work. I know in-between the cake layers would be good..good luck, xoox
@littleabigail123 most recipes call for bittersweet, I think the solids in the simi-sweet don't make it shinny and glossy...as for almond Bark I have never used it, but you can always try...good luck testing it out, xoxo
@ahsookie1 I forgot to show that part, but i have the cake sitting on a cardboard and used a serrated knife and cut as close to the cake then on a clean round cardboard transferred to that...
Must we crumb coat the cake before pouring the ganache? or can we just pour the ganache straight on the cake? We can use it as filling in betweeen layers of cake too right?
@hardworker1998 I like to cream coat so it leaves a nice clean finish, but you don't have to...and yes it is great for fillings or top cupcakes...thanks for watching..xoxo
@ultimatedarkside1 you can buy them online through godiva.com...or try to find your local Godiva store. If you go to the store there are lots of samples they let you try ..yummmm...thanks for watching..xoxo

vetdetta 4 months ago
@vetdetta if the ganache is lumpy you might try using a dark chocolate or swiss, you can't use simi sweet ...good luck..xoxo

'Scuse my lack of verbal art,
But cakey cooking makes a lady fart.
Even little, lady-like breaks of wind,
Is like having terribly sinned,
(If you're a pretty pink lady.)
But for a lady sleazy and shady,
No-one would care,
As only lovely lady farts are rare.
