The lighting is better in norway then Denmark. Was Annie Grosvold based on Trine? i watched a ep on the website a few years ago and they seem similar in personality?

The BBC indeed produce TWL, but production takes place at Pinewood Studios (at least this was the case in 2003 when we visited)

This is the actual set used in the Danish version of TWL (see below). The whole set fits into a 20 ft shipping container.

Yes, it is the same set. But all technical equipment, lighting, etc. is not part of the original danish set.
